These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SignalFin’s website at signalfin.app, the SignalFin application, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by SignalFin (“SignalFin,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Informational purposes only — not investment advice
SignalFin is a software tool for research and informational purposes only. SignalFin is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and nothing on the Service constitutes investment, tax, legal, or other professional advice. No content on the Service is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or other financial instrument, and no content is intended as an offer or solicitation of any such instrument.
You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. You should consult a licensed financial professional before making any investment decision. See our Financial Disclaimer for more detail.
2. Read-only brokerage access
SignalFin integrates with third-party brokerages exclusively through SnapTrade using read-only connections. This means:
- We are not authorized to place, modify, or cancel trades on your behalf. SignalFin has no trading permissions on any connected account.
- We do not take custody of your funds or securities. Your assets remain with your brokerage at all times.
- We never receive or store your brokerage login credentials. All authentication is handled by SnapTrade.
3. No guarantee of market data accuracy or timeliness
Market data, fundamentals, analyst ratings, filings, transcripts, AI-generated content, and other information surfaced through the Service are provided by third-party data vendors and are furnished “as is” without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Data may be delayed, incorrect, or unavailable. You should independently verify any information before relying on it.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. The Service is not available to users under the age of 18 or in jurisdictions where its use would be unlawful.
5. Your account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date.
- Notify us immediately at support@signalfin.app if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right in connection with the Service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or our underlying infrastructure.
- Probe, scan, disrupt, overload, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without express written permission.
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Service using automated means not made generally available by SignalFin.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from any portion of the Service.
- Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited content.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or data obtained through the Service without our prior written consent.
7. Subscription and billing
Paid plans may be offered at or after product launch. When paid plans are available, you authorize us (and our billing processor) to charge your chosen payment method for applicable fees. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account settings, and cancellation will take effect at the end of the current period. Except as required by law, fees are non-refundable.
8. Intellectual property
SignalFin and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, content, logos, trademarks, and other intellectual property. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.
9. Third-party services
The Service interoperates with third-party services (including SnapTrade, market data vendors, and payment processors). Your use of third-party services is governed by those providers’ terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT. SIGNALFIN DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY CONTENT, INCLUDING MARKET DATA, WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR TIMELY.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIGNALFIN AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF DATA, OR DIMINUTION IN VALUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, SIGNALFIN IS NOT LIABLE FOR TRADING LOSSES, INCORRECT OR DELAYED MARKET DATA, BROKERAGE ERRORS, DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON INFORMATION SURFACED THROUGH THE SERVICE, OR ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SignalFin and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. Sections intended by their nature to survive termination will survive.
14. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless otherwise agreed in writing. You and SignalFin each consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section limits either party’s right to seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide notice by email or in-app message. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
